Hey hey Barkers!

We can’t believe that the Great Doggy Bake Off is nearly over!

Of course, we're going out on a tasty note - so the grand showstopper recipe of this years Bake Off is Cake!

Enjoy whipping up this challenging recipe with your furry best friend and don’t forget to thank them if they’ve lent a paw in the kitchen over the competition.

We want you to make a cake out of this world. Play with layers, play with toppings - get creative. This one is to determine the Great Doggy Bake Off Champion!

Recipe: Showstopper Cake

Week 5 - Showstopper3
Ingredients
  • 2 eggs
  • 120g dog safe peanut butter
  • 65ml vegetable oil
  • 165ml water
  • 100g honey
  • 2 large carrots (shredded)
  • 300g self-raising gluten free flour
Method
  1. Preheat oven to 180c and grease and line the base of 2 x 20cm/8” cake tins
  2. Whisk together eggs, peanut butter, oil, honey and water
  3. Stir in shredded carrots. Add flour, and stir until combined
  4. Divide mixture between the two tins, and smooth off surface
  5. Bake for 25mins, or until skewer inserted into the center comes out clean
  6. Cool on rack
