Details
This is a must visit place when heading along the East Lothian coast for a dog walk. It is a hidden gem in Tyninghame and the pawfect stopping point after a walk. A personal favourite is the hot chocolate accompanied by the mound of marshmallows and cream!
Inside the place is full of trinkets and homemade items available to buy while outside you can sit in the *sometimes* sunny courtyard and watch the world go by.
The menu is full of homemade sandwiches, soups and cakes. Don't forget the treat jar for the dogs too!

We’re always made very welcome when we visit so we keep coming back. Being bigger dogs we tend to stick to the outside space for the ickler doggles they are welcome inside too. Arya still comes in to choose what we’re going to eat and have extra cuddles. A biccy jar by the door for the doggles and plenty of water available (they’ve even refilled my bottle for the var too) makes this a pawfect stop off point!

I don’t think there is a time we pass Tyninghame without visiting our friends in the smithy! We absolutely loved the chilled out vibe after walkies and if its a nice day we sit out in the courtyard or in winter we are inside near the fire! The inside of the cafe is full of trinkets and homemade goods to purchase. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Then there’s the food…well go hungry if you are thinking of heading there. Homemade cake selection to die for or the soup/rolls are all highly recommended!
