Red Rover Dog Day Care - isn't simply just a day care! Inside their building they offer a doggy swimming pool for your dog and you!
They are located in the Castlemilk area of Glasgow, around 20 minutes from the city centre.
The swimming pool allows your dog to swim in a safe location, and in an enclosed room. There is a ramp that allows access up into the pool, and then down into the water.
This swimming pool allows you to teach your dog to swim, build up its confidence swimming, some hydrotherapy time or just enjoy time swimming in warm water rather than outside.
They provide life jackets in various sizes if your dog isn't confident at swimming or is just learning. There is also changing rooms available if you wish to go in the water with your dog.

The facility is extremely clean, welcoming and spacious. We were welcome by Babs who was very professional, friendly and really good with Brodie who settled quickly in an unfamiliar environment.
The pool is exclusive use when you hire, it is very clean and there is lots of space for both humans and dogs. The pool temperature is warm so it can be very cold when coming out, perhaps heaters in the winter could make it slightly more comfortable when getting changed.
Overall we had a great experience and for a pup who walks around puddles, Brodie had a great time and was a natural little swimmer. We will definitely be making a return visit.

We heard about this place through a friend, so we booked Skye and Oscar in for an hour session. We had been looking all over Scotland for somewhere like this, and we are so glad that we found this place. All the staff are very friendly, and welcoming.
The pool is exclusive to you and your dog(s). There is a changing area at back of the room if needed, and they supply toys and life jackets for your dogs. The pool is warm and clean, and a reasonable size for your dogs to swim in. There is a ramp to get in and out of the pool, and decent amount of space around the pool too.
It is great fun and we would highly recommend Red Rover Doggie Swimming to anyone in the area!! But remember to book ahead!!

We took our puppy Jasmine here for first time around Dec ’19! She was a bit timid at first and the lady at the front who checked us in was so good with her! She brought out toys and got her fitted with her own jacket. Eventually Jasmine warmed right up to it. There’s a big area surrounding the pool so she could do zoomies while trying to get dry.
The pool was very clean and warm. Staff was friendly. And there was doggie yogurt to be purchased for an after-swim treat! Def enjoyed seeing Jasmine enjoy a swim in a good safe environment.
