I first visited House of Dun with my furiends from Dog Friendly Angus and Dundee and really enjoyed my walk so I have been back a few times again with Mooma. The grounds are lovely, shaded on a hot day and I liked splashing in the stream.
Here’s what Mooma thinks – There are some lovely walks around the estate of the House of Dun, some longer than others and some pass along country roads so you will need to pop pooch on a lead for a bit if you choose that way to go. The walks are well sign posted and its nice to get somewhere different to go.
You’ve got to try the cafe too while you are there, totally dog friendly of course!
There is a small parking charge (£2 or £3) with the money going to the National Trust of Scotland but you are otherwise free to walk the grounds.
