Mhor 84 is a restaurant, café and bar as well as accommodation too. All three are intertwined.
They are extremely dog and family friendly and the food is delicious, you can book a table or just turn up - it is in the middle of gorgeous walking and cycling territory - and you and your family and dogs are ensured of a warm and friendly welcome.
One their website they say:
We serve food all day from 8am-9pm, for motel guests, walkers, joggers, cyclists, the odd pet dog, and everyone else, too.
There’s always something good to eat at Mhor 84. We source a lot of our food from our own farm at Monachyle Mhor. Breakfasts come in all shapes and sizes, including the Big Breakfast, our fabled eggs benedict, or a simple flat white with Mhor Bread sourdough toast and homemade jam. Lunches include stonking soups, homemade bread, Scottish steaks, and gourmet burgers, as well as bowls of mussels, or seafood chowder, or a few choice loch oysters, and plenty of sumptuous salads from 12-5pm. From noon until 9pm, additional specials are added to the menu.
Cakes and pastries come freshly baked from our sister bakery Mhor Bread.
There’s plenty of food that kids will enjoy, and high chairs for the little ones.
We’ve a cracking wee wine and beer list, too.
The bar is open for alcohol from 11am to 11pm, Monday-Thursday, till midnight on Friday and Saturday, and from 12.30-11pm on Sunday. You’re welcome to come in for a pint, anytime.

Super cool place – gorgeous food, we really enjoyed the wood fired pizza (I had pizza Bianco and it was amazing) and a cheeky cocktail for lunch, with all four dogs happily under the table resting during the middle of our walk, so much so that we booked to return for dinner another evening. Very dog friendly, dogs welcome inside and outside (although it’s Scotland so the midges are present outside in the evening) and comes highly recommended. Right in the centre of amazing walks too.
