Situated just 4 miles from the beautiful Bala lake and Bala town this super dogfuriendly and relaxing campsite has much to offer for you and your hoomans. Set in fields bordered by woodland and the River Tryweryn, you will have plenty of places to explore and a beautiful location to unwind.
Tyn Cornel is a relaxing and picturesque campsite in the Snowdonia National Park and has easy access to all the area has to offer. It is pawfect for those who want to get away for peace and quiet with plenty of beautiful and scenic walks; or for those who are after something a little more adventurous such as white water rafting, mountain biking, the word famous zip lines, or a walk up Mount Snowdown.
Dogs are welcomed and there is a large field for pooches to play off the lead. The owners are lovely and provide a warm welcome and lots of advice if needed on the local area. There are beautiful walks from the campsite including a short walk up the river to the National white water rafting Centre where you will find a café that serves food all day and with picnic benches next to the river where you can sit and watch the rafts and kayaks come past.
Onsite there is a shop at reception selling the camping essentials and the site comes with free and excellent quality wifi. There is a field for camping without electric where you can reserve a fire pit and logs to burn. There are also covered picnic benches spread around the site. Another field is reserved for those who require electric hook up for their tourers or tents. There are also glamping tents and riverside pods for those who want a little more luxury. The site is kept in excellent condition and shower block facilities are immaculate. Laundry facilities are provided along with a covered washing up and food preparation area. A fridge and freezers with ice blocks help you cool off on a hot day.
A ten minute car trip away is Bala lake where dogs can splash and swim in the water whilst there are many dogfuriendly pubs and places to eat. So if you want to explore this wonderful part of the Wales then this campsite is certainly worth staying at.
